Lay a large piece of Pellon on the floor to lay out your quilt blocks. When you a pleased with the layout, pin the pieces in position. You can fold it up without disturbing the layout and simply lay it out again when you are ready to assemble the quilt top.
Tea-Dying
To give quilter’s muslin an antique look, use Parisian essence to dye it. Combine one tablespoon of Parisian essence with one litre of warm water and soak the quilter’s muslin for 10 minutes. Line dry, then press it with a hot iron to set the colour. We suggest you test a small piece of the fabric first to get the desired colour. This will allow you to adjust the solution to make it weaker or stronger to suit your needs.
