The South Coast and Country Quilters’ Guild is holding its quilt show at the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club, Batemans Bay, with a wide range of quilts made by members as well as demonstrations of quilting by hand and machine, trading table, stalls and quilt raffle. The Springwood Salvation Army’s patchwork group, Together by Stitches, is holding its annual Quilt Show and Bush Dance in the barn at the Salvation Army, 15-23 Francis Rd, Faulconbridge, featuring over 120 quilts on display as well as a craft-book stall, hubbies’ waiting area and free homemade cake with coffee and tea. The CWA, Adaminaby Branch, welcomes visitors to its beautiful area for the inaugural Adaminaby Quilt Show held in Adaminaby, featuring a superb display of work by local women, along with the results of the quilt challenge – which is open to all quilters – and various workshops, as well as activities for the rest of the family including the trout fishing and (weather permitting) enjoying the snow at Mt Selwyn.
